The Sandbox, a global metaverse platform, today unveiled a collection of D-Day metaverse content and limited edition NFTs with the city of Incheon.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and honor the soldiers who defended Korea's freedom and peace, The Sandbox and the city of Incheon have created a metaverse experience of the Incheon Landing, one of the most important events in modern Korean history. Users of The Sandbox will be able to experience D-Day content, interact with historical figures, and play various minigames.

Purchasers of the D-Day NFT collection released by The Sandbox will be entered into a raffle to win special benefits such as a luxury hotel stay in the Incheon area, a travel voucher for the 'Living in Incheon Island' tour, and a 24-hour Incheon Tour Pass. All proceeds from the sale of the NFT collection will be donated to the Korean War veterans through the Korean War Veterans Association.
