Cryptocurrency exchange Korbit announced today that it will sell non-fungible token (NFT) PASS for the 20th Jarasum Jazz Festival, a representative jazz festival in Korea.

The NFT PASS, issued in partnership between Korbit and SK Planet, will be available for purchase on Korbit's website until the 3rd of next month. Purchasers will be able to enter the '20th Jarasum Jazz Festival' on Jara Island in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do from October 7th to 9th. NFT PASS purchasers will receive a special admission band. The first 100 customers to purchase will receive a t-shirt with the name of the artist performing at the festival. In addition, 10 lucky winners will receive Korbit's 10th anniversary merchandise.

Korbit will also be giving away bitcoin to new sign-ups. Customers who complete customer verification and link their Shinhan Bank account through the QR code in the program book provided at the festival site will receive KRW 10,000 worth of BTC. 

Customers who purchase NFT PASS must go through a procedure to prove that they are NFT owners on site when entering the festival. Once purchased, NFT PASS is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

"We are pleased to be able to use NFTs to connect with our customers at the Jarasum Jazz Festival, a representative outdoor music festival in the fall," said Ilkwon Kim, Head of Business Development at Korbit. "We plan to increase our contact points with our customers at various offline events."

Jarasum Jazz Festival is a jazz festival held every fall on Jara Island in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do. It celebrated its 20th edition this year. This year, a total of 41 performers, including 19 international and 22 domestic acts, such as pianist Shai Maestro Quartet, Yoon Sun Na, guitarist Pasquale Grasso Trio, and Hyunmi Joo's jazz project, are scheduled to perform.

The Jarasum Jazz Festival will be held from the 6th to the 9th of next month, starting with the eve festival on the 6th.
